Devices and End points

Habeetat Planner is based on the concept of Devices and Endpoints. This concept allows the application to integrate all Habeetat devices product line, that using XBee and ZigBee technology, as well as integrate PLCBus devices.

A device, physically, is a module that can be controlled via Habeetat Planner. Each device can perform various functions, and also have multiple channels.
Each of these functions is called Endpoint.

For technologies such as Zigbee and XBee, which are the products Solidmation using, the criterion of Endpoints has an important role, as each Endpoint is addressed with a corresponding identification number and address of the physical module that hosts it. For these technologies, a device represents a unique network address, and their endpoints are housed in that direction, and are differentiated by an Endpoint ID. In Zigbee and XBee the relationship between devices and endpoints cannot be altered, and is created when you install the device.
